Symbolism:
Many of us women, depicted here by a Native woman of North America, feel the need to reconnect with a Source of Love much greater than ourselves so that we can feel whole and continue to give to our loved ones, to our children, to our communities, to the world. To remember, to put back together "Who we really are". Often times, as so many of us experience, we over give and then, the well turns dry even before we realize it. Suddenly we are drained, frustrated, angry, burnt out from life. We must return to connecting with other women and revive the ancient ways of connecting as a Sisterhood -- this will bring Harmony and Balance to the World. As Women we need to connect to our Source, the Divine, our Creator, God, or Universe if you will. It matters not the name you give it, it matters only that you are able to give the time to yourself as a gift and do what you uniquely need to feel balanced and whole --- physically, mentally, emotionally, spirtually. It is the kindest and most loving thing you can do for others since your own giving depends on the quality of the "vessel" doing the giving which is you! Your children, your children's children and their children and the billions to come will come back into the World you have seeded for them. Let it be a World seeded in your Love and Kindness ... Inner Peace is Yours ... World Peace is sure to follow... Here, in this Painting, the woman is connecting to her Creator, the Source of All Love by ritual - by smudging with sweet grass. Her Heart and Soul is being replenished and filled up with Love and Compassion ... Her wounds and hurts are healed ... yellow is for Empowerment, deciding for ones self, taking full responsibility for our own choices and not playing "victim" or "martyr" which rob us of our gifts. It matters not what you need to do to connect and feel whole but only that you do choose to take action and Heal your own heart and listen to the wise woman within. It is looking after, loving and caring for yourself as well as finding and using your voice that your heart is healed ... The World is waiting for your expression, your unique voice whatever that may be ... It is uniquely you ...
